Privacy notice
Updated September 11, 2026
This website is for Finger Lakes Woodworks and Jim Liebel in Bloomfield, New York. For questions about your information, email Lieble.jim@gmail.com or call (585) 721-9007.
Project inquiries
The inquiry tool asks for your contact details and basic information about your project. In email-draft mode, it prepares text in your browser; you send it yourself using your email app. If direct form delivery is enabled, the page will say “Send my project inquiry,” and submitting shares those details with Jim through the website's email delivery provider, Resend. A successful submission means the provider accepted the email, not that Jim has read it.
Jim uses your inquiry to evaluate the project, respond to you, and manage any subsequent working relationship. The contact checkbox relates to your project inquiry; it is not a subscription to a marketing list. Do not include payment details, government identifiers, or other sensitive information.
Campaign information
The site may keep campaign codes (source, medium, campaign, and content) and the referring website's hostname in session storage for the life of this browser tab. This helps connect an inquiry to the marketing that brought you here. It does not store the full referring URL, search terms, advertising click IDs, or your form entries. First-visit and current campaign details are included with a direct submission; the email draft includes first-visit details. This information is an attribution clue, not proof of a referral or commission entitlement.
The site does not load third-party advertising pixels or analytics scripts, or use tracking cookies. The original design loads fonts from Google Fonts and animation libraries from cdnjs; those services receive technical requests from your browser. The refined design uses local assets. Your browser's session behavior may preserve a tab's session when restoring that tab. Closing the tab normally clears its session storage.
Hosting and delivery
The hosting provider may process technical request data, including IP address and browser information, to deliver and protect the site. Email providers process messages you send or that are delivered for your inquiry. These services have their own privacy policies and retention settings. The website does not write inquiry contents into application console logs or save them in a browser database.
Your choices
You can call or email Jim directly instead of using the inquiry tool. Ask Jim to correct or delete inquiry information, or to stop contacting you. Project correspondence may need to be retained for ongoing work, records, or legal obligations. A formal retention schedule and any future advertising tools should be reflected in this notice when introduced.
